IADB Conference is over

No pictures of the conference to post - sorry folks.  But there were thousands of people in Calgary over the weekend to attend the Inter-American Development Bank conference.  My company had ten people attend, and they were in meetings from breakfast to dinner, and all day in between.

I was able to help out with the hostessing duties, and glad I did.  I met our colleagues from the New York office and South American colleagues as well.  They're from the Financial Institutions division of the Bank, so our paths would normally never cross, so this was a great venue for me to introduce myself and represent the Calgary office to them.  Good thing, too, since my boss decided to snub them.  At  least they think I'm great :-)

Bank of America Merrill Lynch threw a big bash on Sunday night at Velvet - I heard it was VERY well attended, you could barely move in there.  And scandalous behaviour by some folks!  If you were there, hope you had fun!

Hopefully the next post will be interesting enough and I'll have pictures to post.
