UPDATE!

No pictures to post, but here's what has happened since the last blog posting.

In April, I went to New York for work, but dropped in to visit Mom, Dad, Scott, Susie and the boys on the way through.

In May, a book tour came through Calgary and I knit two shawls for the author I was assigned to - they turned out okay, and I let her keep one - the Seascape stole.  The colour was a pale mint green and it looked really nice on Dora.

In June, we sold the house to a retired couple.  The house wasn't listed, but they were looking for a bungalow style house, and from the time they had a look at the house to the time the last signature was on the paperwork was only three hours!  We walked around the house that weekend in a daze wondering what we were going to do.

Selling the house was the kick in the pants we needed to move to Prince Edward Island.  It was part of the five year plan anyway, but it moved up to immediately when had to be out of the house by July 15th.  We only had five weeks to pack up a house and move!

So July 13th we started driving east.  We stopped for a few days at Mom and Dad's.  Met Carly, who is a lovely, lovely gal.  After that visit, we headed to Summerside, PEI.  Met interesting characters at the motel we were staying at.  Then last week we moved to a different motel in Borden-Carleton.

We're house hunting and job hunting.  But more house hunting, actually.

In the middle of August, I drove back to Ontario to spend the weekend as a tourist in Toronto with Susie and Mom - it was fantastic!  We packed more activities into those two days than most people would do in a week.  If you get to Toronto, use the sightseeing hop-on-hop-off bus tour.  It also includes a boat tour of the Toronto Harbour.  And only $36 per adult for a three day pass.

Okay, I lied.  Here's a picture of the three of us having High Tea at the King Edward Hotel in Toronto.  Expensive, but nice.

Will post again when we actually have some news.
