Highway 20 Ride

We've been told by a couple of riders to take Highway 20 in Washington State for an excellent trip, so we set out on Sept 1st, first for Kalispell, Montana to go to the car show in Big Fork which is about a 20 minute ride away.  We stay in Kalispell because they have a Famous Dave's restaurant - it's an awesome BBQ place.
Here's the top of the car show.  At the bottom of the hill, turn right and there's the entire downtown filled with  cars and motorcycles of every description.
We took a break from the show in a parkette in the downtown  area, and saw this wonderful  water feature with a bronze bear on it.
I took a picture of us in front of the bear water feature - I need to get a hat if I'm wearing a helmet all day long ....
And of course, walking around in 80+ deg F heat for an afternoon makes you thirsty - so we stopped into a bar that actually had some room - we found a not-so-crowded corner to stop and have a beverage.
Montana doesn't have helmet laws, so of course, dear Dan didn't wear one.  Here he is coming in to dock the bike.

Yeah, he's pretty happy about no helmet, just seen a car show, and it's great weather!
