Days 10 and 11 - Venice, Italy

Here's all the places we've been to - wherever you see a star, that was a port of call.  At the top where Venice is, it's a white box, and on the TV it is flashing, so you know which port you're in!

No mention that we're docked in Venice.  But we're there!

Now we're getting to the end of the trip - first few pictures taken while we were making our way through Venice and to the pier.
First, the sunrise heading towards Venice.
Entering Venice

Not sure if you can see it in this picture, but a lot of the taller buildings and steeples have a list to them - from many years of tremors and quakes.

On the water bus that takes you to the different bus stops.
Entering St. Mark's square stop.

Watching the gondolas go by ...

This guy was feeding the pigeons ...

out of his hand!  Just after we took this picture, about five more landed on him.

St. Mark's Square

Dan sitting with one of the other passengers we met on the cruise.

Just a narrow alleyway ...

Me with a 'live' statue.

Heading down one of the alleyways ...

Not sure why this is sideways, but it's a mosaic on the street letting you know where the nearest taverna is!
A very large tug boat we saw.
And that's the end of Day 10.  The next day was travel to the airport day.

This is the top portion of a sculpture they had outside the airport.  The glass topper is a tribute to the famous Murano glass makers.

And here's the rest of the sculpture.

And that, my friends, is the end of our trip!
