Mom and Dad in now in Florida

I talked to Mom last night.  They're in Florida staying with the Lorito's.  It's sunny and warm there - it was 69 deg. F at 9:00 pm when we were talking.

While I was talking to Mom, I was standing in the kitchen looking at the snow falling.

Honestly, I'm sick and tired of the cold and the snow.  Even the short trip to Las Vegas a couple of weekends ago with all the sun and warm weather doesn't make it any better.

Snow = blech!  At least it didn't stick to the sidewalks/roads.  Here's a picture from our copier room looking west along 8th Avenue at the rooftop pool at the Ramada, as well as a view to the east towards Bankers Hall.  It's certainly sunny enough, but with the buildings in the way, a lot of the sun is blocked.  At least it's not snowing, I guess!
